Conceptual Poster: Design a poster for one of several selected short films using a conceptual approach.
Brand Extension + Editorial Spread: Imagine a new brand extension for a well-known brand. Create a prototype of this brand extension, and then design a magazine lay-out that covers this new product/service.
Graphic Design II / III
Integrated Campaign: Create a multifaceted “bid package” to bring the 2030 Winter Olympics to Minnesota. This group project must include an overarching visual identity with supporting ambient graphics; a symbol set, including at least 20 pictographs for sports and venue wayfinding; branded merchandise; designs for medals, torch, cauldron, advertising, or other venue collateral; and design of an app interface.
Data Visualization: This unit included multiple approaches to data collection and visualization, including conventional and unconventional means of interpreting data collected about our own everyday activities and experiences. (Click on images for larger view.)
