Equipment Desk Closing Wed Mar 18

The DMA Equipment Desk will be closed beginning Wed Mar 18 until further notice. You should work with your professors to arrange equipment needs while the university moves to remote instruction.

The DMA computer labs remain open for use. This includes BML 21, BML 10, DRH 5, and DRH 8. These labs have the software necessary for DMA coursework.

Check this space for announcements regarding the equipment desk when classes resume April 1.

TECH DESK HOURS WEEK OF THANKSGIVING BREAK

Equipment checked out Wed the 21st will be due back Mon the 26th. Equipment checked out Tue the 20th is due back Wed the 21st.

Sunday -11/18: 12-3pm and 4-6pm

Monday -11/19: 10am-1pm and 4-7pm

Tuesday -11/20: 11:30-1pm (30 minutes less than normal), 4-7pm, and 7-9pm.

Wednesday-11/21:  10am-1pm

Thursday -11/22: CLOSED

Friday-11/23: CLOSED

Saturday -11/24: CLOSED

Sunday -11/25: CLOSED

Monday -11/26: Normal hours resume

 

 

 

Official DMA Tech Desk Hours for Fall Semester + more

Hours for DMA Tech Desk:

 

When is my equipment due back to the tech desk?
Sunday-Wednesday rentals are due 48 hours after being checked out (ie. Check something out on Monday and bring it back Wednesday)
Thursday: Due on Friday
Friday: Due on Monday
What if something is late? For everyday something is late, you are subject to a $10 fine per piece of equipment per day. Communicate with dma.hamline@gmail.com with questions.
How do I get to the Tech Desk? (DRH 5A)
Enter the main Drew Residence hall doors
Go one door past the dance studio and follow signs that read “Stairwell to Rooms 1-11”
At bottom of the stairs open the right door for Rooms 1-11.
Take right and head down hallway past the DMA Lab (DRH5)
At the end of the hallway on the left is the DMA tech office (DRH5A)

Finals Week Tech Desk hours

Friday, December 15th will be the last normally schedule day for the Tech Desk.  In the following week for finals, the schedule will follow:

Sunday, December 17th: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Monday, December 18th: 11:30 am – 1:30 pm, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Tuesday, December 19th: 11:30 am – 1:30 pm, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Monday of finals week will be the last day to check out equipment, and Tuesday will be the last day to return equipment.  Any equipment that isn’t turned in at a timely manner will be subject to late fees.  Any equipment checked out starting Sunday, December 17th will be due Tuesday, December 19th by 8:00 pm.  Any rental made before that Sunday will be due after its usual two-day or weekend period.  Be respectful to other students during this time of final projects and return equipment as you finish using them.
